If you have lost your dog/cat please post here as much detail as possible.
For lost animals firstly contact the police, council & all vets in the area the animal was lost. Keep calling them periodically to check giving them as much information about the animal.
Like colour, size, breed, sex, age & if it was wearing a collar, tag, microchipped, neutered, area last seen etc.
It may be wise not to post the name of the lost animal in question as if it is found the finder would then know its name & may not hand it in.
If you have found a dog again as above, contact the police, council & all vets in the area that the animal was found.
Tell them the colour, size, breed if possible, wearing a collar, tagged, neutered. If you can get it to the nearest vets & ask them to scan it to see if it is microchipped.
The council should have a dog warden that will make contact with the finder & call to collect the animal which will be then taken to the kennels.
If you are cross posting or posting on behalf of the owner/finder please ensure that you have their permission.
